On the afternoon of December 13, a 7-seat car with license plate 60K - 326.69 traveling from Lam Dong to Binh Thuan, when the car reached km44 through Phan Lam commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan, it plunged into the abyss of Dai Ninh pass.
There were 6 people in the car and fortunately no one was injured. The people in the car were rescued by local people and brought out of the abyss. The fall from the road to the abyss was about 20 meters deep. According to local people, it rained in the Dai Ninh pass area this afternoon.
Dai Ninh Pass is known to have many hairpin bends and many bad roads. Currently, the road is under construction to renovate and upgrade National Highway 28B.
Previously, in July 2022, at this location, a 30-seat passenger bus carrying many women and children plunged into a ravine, injuring several people.
