Turtle truck hits the head, a lake assistant in Phu Quoc dies

    Kien Giang - At a 5-storey building under construction in Phu Quoc, a lake was unfortunately hit in the head by a turtle carrying mortar falling from the floor and dying.

    On May 16, the leader of Duong Dong Ward Police, Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang) said that the unit is coordinating with functional forces to investigate the cause of a fatal work accident that just occurred in the area.

    Accordingly, the victim was Mr. L.V.C (from An Bien district, Kien Giang province), working as a lake assistant. At around 8:00 a.m. the same day, while Mr. C was working on the ground floor of a 5-storey building at the foot of Nguyen Trung Truc Bridge (wards 2, Duong Dong Ward) when a turtle truck filled with mortar fell from the upper floor and hit the front and died.

    The turtle truck containing mortar was pulled with a rope from the ground to a high floor to be paved with bricks when it suddenly fell right where Mr. C was standing.
