At 9:00 p.m. on November 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Ham Tan District Police, Binh Thuan Province, conducted an investigation into the scene of a traffic accident that left one driver dead.
Earlier, at around 7:00 p.m. the same day, at Km29 of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay Expressway, Song Phan Commune, Ham Tan District, Binh Thuan Province, an accident occurred between two cars. According to initial information, at that time, the car with license plate 92C - 246.04, driven by driver T.T.C (residing in Soc Trang), was traveling in the direction of Phan Thiet - Dong Nai. When it reached the above location, it hit the back of a tractor-trailer with license plate 84R - 000.63 traveling in the same direction ahead.
The collision crushed the front of the truck, causing it to stick to the rear of the trailer. A crane arrived at the scene, pulled the crumpled front of the truck, and took the driver out, but he later died. At 8:30 p.m., the victim's body was taken to Binh Thuan General Hospital.
After the accident, Highway Traffic Control Patrol Team No. 6, Department 6, Traffic Police Department was present at the scene to regulate traffic. At the same time, the North-South section of the highway near the accident site was closed, and vehicles traveling in this direction exited the highway at the National Highway 55 intersection to go to National Highway 1.

It is known that in the past 5 consecutive days, there have been 3 accidents where a car from behind hit the back of a car in the same direction in front on the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway. On November 21, a sleeper bus hit the back of a tanker truck at Km 6 of this highway, causing the bus attendant to die and about 10 passengers to be taken to the hospital. On the morning of November 24, at Km 35, a truck hit the back of a truck in front, causing 3 people to be sent to the hospital. And this evening, November 25, the above accident occurred.
