On the evening of June 20, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province Police promptly rescued 2 victims trapped in the truck crash that collapsed into a house in Vinh Thai Commune, Nha Trang City.
The incident occurred at around 5:30 p.m. the same day, on Phong Chau Street, Vinh Thai Commune. A truck suddenly lost control while going downhill, crashed into a house on the roadside, collapsed 3 walls, causing serious damage to the house.
The truck driver was trapped in the cabin, while a paralyzed man lying in the house was also trapped under the front of the truck.
As soon as the news was received, the rescue team dispatched 2 rescue vehicles and 1 fire truck to the scene. Here, the authorities used a hydraulic cutting board to break the cabin, take the driver out, and used a trailer to pull the truck to approach and rescue the second victim.
According to local people, the truck showed signs of losing control while going downhill. Among the two victims who were rescued, one was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room.
