On June 29, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Council opened the 3rd session of the 9th Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031 with many important contents related to finance, budget and land to serve the socio-economic development requirements of the locality.
Speaking at the meeting, leaders of the Provincial People's Council said that the whole province is focusing on implementing socio-economic development tasks in 2026 with high determination, striving to complete the set goals and targets, especially the GRDP growth target of 10.6%.
At the meeting, the Provincial People's Council will consider and approve the State Financial Statements for 2025 and approve the final settlement of state budget revenue in the area, final settlement of local budget revenue and expenditure in 2025 according to the provisions of law. This is to assess the results of management and use of public assets, public financial resources and budget compliance of localities, thereby improving the efficiency of public financial management and ensuring publicity and transparency.
In addition, the Provincial People's Council will consider and approve the list of 19 additional works and projects that need land recovery with a total area of 177.82 ha to meet the needs of land use for socio-economic development, ensuring a legal basis for land recovery and project implementation according to the provisions of the 2024 Land Law. At the same time, consider stipulating the maximum and minimum levels of the adjustment coefficient for land price fluctuations in the market.
These contents are assessed as having important significance, creating a legal basis for the management, administration and promotion of socio-economic development of the province in the coming time.
