On behalf of the Politburo, General Secretary and President To Lam signed and issued Decision No. 182-QD/TW dated June 2, 2026 on consolidating the Steering Committee for the implementation of unified staff management of the political system.
According to Decision No. 182-QD/TW, the Steering Committee for the implementation of unified staff management of the political system (Steering Committee) has been consolidated and includes 13 comrades.
In which, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat is the Head of the Committee.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee is the Standing Deputy Head. Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Home Affairs is the Deputy Head.
Members of the Steering Committee include comrades: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee for Representative Affairs; Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Presidential Office; Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance; Member of the Party Central Committee, Procurator General of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Member of the Party Central Committee, State Auditor General; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Deputy Minister of Home Affairs; Deputy Head of the Central Organization Committee (in charge of personnel management).
The decision clearly states: The Steering Committee has the task of advising and proposing to the Politburo policies and implementing uniform payroll management in the political system in the period 2026 - 2031; directing the deployment and inspection, supervision of the implementation of policies and decisions of the Politburo on payroll management of the political system.
The Central Organization Committee is the Standing Agency of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee established an assisting group to perform tasks. The Steering Committee is allowed to use the seal of the Central Organization Committee to serve the work.
The Party Central Committee Office ensures working conditions and operating expenses of the Steering Committee.
