On March 12, according to a source from Lao Dong Newspaper, the Inspectorate of the Hue City Department of Construction has just decided to administratively sanction Tai Phu Construction and Design Consulting Company Limited, due to violations in the work of consulting on management and supervision of the project of relocating and upgrading the Thua Thien Hue Motor Vehicle Inspection Center.
Tai Phu Company (headquartered in Phu Gia Commune, Phu Vang District, Hue City) was determined to have shortcomings in the management consultation process, leading to the construction of the project not in accordance with the approved design.
In the inspection house item, the project has replaced the corrugated iron walls with brick walls, added 7 windows, 2 slides at both ends of the quay, and adjusted the power system for equipment at the technical holes. In the fence and yard items, the concrete yard thickness will be changed from 160mm to 180mm, adjusting the height of the wall foundation and the size of the front fence steel parallel.
For these violations, the Chief Inspector of the Hue City Department of Construction has decided to administratively fine Tai Phu Company VND 90 million. This unit must strictly comply, if it does not voluntarily comply within the deadline, it will be forced to comply according to the law.
The project to relocate and upgrade the Thua Thien Hue Motor Vehicle Inspection Center has an area of 5,200m2, located in Thuy Xuan ward (Thuan Hoa district, Hue city) with a total investment of nearly 15 billion VND from the state budget. The center includes an office building of 2,832m2, a factory of 545m2, and more than 1,820m2 for the yard and auxiliary works.
