Issuing national reserve materials to support Nghe An in overcoming the consequences of floods

Nghe An - Many rescue materials and equipment from national reserves have been issued in a timely manner, helping Nghe An overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

On August 9, the State Reserve Department of Region VIII said that the unit had just completed the issuance of materials and equipment from the national reserve to promptly support the locality in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3.

According to information from the State Reserve Department of Region VIII, implementing Decision No. 2718/QD-BTC signed by Deputy Minister of Finance Le Tan Can, the State Reserve Department has issued (without collecting money) to Nghe An province many rescue supplies and equipment from the national reserve.

Specifically: 3 DT3 high-speed boats; 100 light life rafts; 300 life jackets; 300 round life buoys; 15 light life tarpaulin sets of 24.5m2; 13 fire-fighting water pumps (synchronous forest fire fighting equipment); 7 generators (3 sets of 30KVA and 4 sets of 50KVA).

A representative of the State Reserve Department of Region VIII said that before that, in a very short time after the decision of the competent authority, the unit also organized the loading and handover of 40 sets of life tarpaulins from the national reserve to promptly support people in communes affected by storm No. 3 in Nghe An.
