Giving medicine and medical equipment to support people in flooded areas of Nghe An

Nghe An - The working delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi directly presented many gifts to support people and health stations in flooded areas.

On August 5, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council Nguyen Nhu Khoi and representatives of the Department of Health and Aikya Pharmaceutical Company visited and presented gifts to support people in Nhon Mai and Huu Khuong communes - localities that suffered heavy damage during the flood in late July.

At the destinations, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council kindly visited and shared with people in flooded areas about the difficulties they are facing, and presented many practical gifts to support their lives and health care.

Including essential drugs worth 100 million VND; medical equipment worth 30 million VND for the health stations of the two communes, including: 4 oxygen generators, handheld mini ultrasound machines, blood sugar testing machines and other medical equipment.

The delegation also presented 26 gifts (each worth 1 million VND) to households that suffered heavy damage. The support source is contributed by Aikya Pharmaceutical Company, the lacement Board of the Dai Dong Commune Incense Council in the South and Nguyen Dung Construction Joint Stock Company.

The activity not only has the meaning of sharing promptly with people in flooded areas, but also contributes to improving the quality of grassroots health care, helping people soon stabilize their lives.
