Both Ferrari 488 GTB cars have symbolic colors of the "sprint horse" brand, including yellow and red. In which, the yellow car stands out with a black painted roof, creating a clear contrasting highlight. The red Ferrari 488 GTB car is personalized by the owner with white patterns, bringing a different look compared to the original configuration.
The Ferrari 488 GTB (Type F142M) is a mid-engine supercar introduced to replace the Ferrari 458 Italia. This is also the first mid-engine Ferrari to use a turbocharged V8 engine since the legendary F40. Later, this line was succeeded by the Ferrari F8 Tributo.
Although still retaining many familiar lines from the Ferrari 458, the 488 GTB is almost completely newly developed, with about 85% of components being redesigned. The most notable change lies in the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, replacing the 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine of the previous generation.
This engine block produces a maximum power of 660 horsepower and a maximum torque of 760 Nm. Thanks to that, the Ferrari 488 GTB is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of up to 330 km/h.
In terms of reputation, the Ferrari 488 GTB was once voted "Supercar of the Year 2015" by Top Gear magazine, and also won the title "Best Driver" awarded by Motor Trend in 2017. The high-performance 488 Pista version was also honored as "Supercar of the Year 2019" by journalist Jeremy Clarkson.
The appearance of two Ferrari 488 GTBs on the streets of Hanoi is considered a rare image, reflecting the increasingly clear development of the supercar playing community in Vietnam.
