Although it has been brought back to the country since 2011, for many years, this Aston Martin Rapide has remained a big mystery to many car enthusiasts, until now when this car has been officially owned by a businessman from Dong Nai province.
Aston Martin Rapide is a luxury saloon model produced from 2010 to 2020, the first 4 -door car of the famous English automaker. The project of developing this model started in 2005, with the goal of bringing a sports, luxurious and powerful sedan. Rapide's original design was completed by Marek Reichman in just 7 weeks, and the prototype model was launched at the North American International Auto Show in 2006.
With a 6.0-liter V12 engine, the Rapide has a capacity of up to 470 horsepower and 601 Nm of torque. Thanks to this power, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 303 km/h. The 6-speed touchtronic II automatic transmission helps transfer power to the rear wheel, bringing an impressive driving experience.
In particular, in 2015, Aston Martin introduced an electric version of Rapide called Rapide E, but this model has not been mass produced. The return of the Aston Martin Rapide in Vietnam not only marks an impressive return but also raises the interest of car enthusiasts in these rare luxury cars.
