According to Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, car drivers will be fined from 2,000,000 VND to 3,000,000 VND for the act of turning left/right, turning around in prohibited places.
If the car driver goes wrong and causes a traffic accident, they will be fined from 20 - 22 million VND and have 10 points deducted from their driver's license. With the above penalty level, drivers need to pay close attention to the wrong turn left and wrong U-turn.
