According to records, this Ferrari 488 Spider originally had a blue original paint color. However, during use, the car has changed its coat color many times through decal pasting. Most recently, the supercar used to be yellow before being changed to white, combined with a set of silver 5-spoke rims, creating an elegant and outstanding overall look.
The Ferrari 488 Spider is a two-seater convertible version of the 488 line, using an electrically folding hardtop, similar to the structure in previous generations. This model was developed based on the Ferrari 488 GTB, with the ability to close or open the roof in about 14 seconds. When lowering the roof, the roof is folded neatly behind the seats, ensuring aesthetics as well as usable space.
Ferrari first announced images of the 488 Spider at the end of July 2015 and officially introduced this model at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September of the same year.
In terms of operation, the Ferrari 488 Spider uses a powertrain similar to the 488 GTB coupe version, with a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, producing a maximum power of 670 PS. The weight of the convertible version is only 50 kg heavier than the coupe version and about 10 kg lighter than the predecessor 458 Spider model.
The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h of the Ferrari 488 Spider reaches 3.0 seconds, while the acceleration time from 0 to 200 km/h is 8.7 seconds. The car's top speed is 325 km/h. With improvements in technology and performance, the Ferrari 488 Spider was once voted by IEEE Spectrum as one of the top ten technology cars in 2016.
