On September 23, information from the Traffic Police Department, Lang Son Provincial Police said that from the beginning of the year to the end of September 22, the Traffic Police (CSGT) of Lang Son Provincial Police detected and handled 8,768 cases of speeding violations, a decrease of 4,049 cases compared to the same period last year.
According to the Traffic Police Department, the total amount of administrative fines for the above cases reached more than 14.6 billion VND.
Of which, 745 cases had their driving licenses revoked, 5,992 cases had their driving license points deducted according to regulations. Violations include both cars and motorbikes.
In addition to handling the work, the provincial traffic police have directly disseminated information to more than 10,000 drivers on key routes.
Many drivers, after being reminded, are clearly aware of the safety risks of speeding, said a representative of the Traffic Police Department.
The authorities recommend that traffic participants strictly comply with regulations on speed and lane, keep a safe distance, do not speed over and over, and proactively check the technical status of the vehicle.
