Answering the case of changing a driver's license received from March 7 but not yet completed

    On May 21, the Ministry of Public Security's Information Portal posted content responding to citizens asking about applications for driver's licenses from March 7, but it was still not completed.

    Reader T.V. Q reflected: "I have requested a C-class driver's license renewal from March 7, 2026, the application has been accepted for fee payment, but so far my driver's license has not been renewed. I have sent the application code for driver's license renewal, hoping to handle it as soon as possible".

    Answering this content on May 21, Hung Yen Police said:

    Through checking on the Public Service Portal system, Mr. T.V. Q's driver's license renewal application was received on March 7, 2026 and displayed the status "in process".

    Because Mr. Q currently has 2 driver's license numbers: a Class C driver's license issued by the Hanoi Department of Transport on April 2, 2021 and a Class A2 driver's license, number: 270114001822 issued by the Bac Ninh Department of Transport on November 29, 2024, leading to errors in the synchronization process.

    The Traffic Police Department, Hung Yen Provincial Police, is conducting corrections and synchronization to reissue driver's licenses for citizens in accordance with regulations.

    Hung Yen Provincial Police have contacted to notify and explain, and at the same time guide citizens to integrate and use electronic driver's licenses on the VNe Traffic application.
