On March 18, information from the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that in two days, March 15-16, the surveillance camera system on National Highway 1 recorded a series of cases of cars violating traffic safety order.

After more than 5 years of operation, the Traffic Safety and Order Monitoring and Handling System on National Highway 1A through Lam Dong province has been effective in traffic management and reducing traffic accidents.
From the beginning of March 2026, expressways passing through the province began to collect tolls, so National Highway 1 has recorded a larger traffic volume.


According to the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, in just 2 days, March 15 and 16, the surveillance camera system recorded 53 traffic violations. Most of them were speeding. In addition, the system also recorded 1 case of running a red light.

Violations will be notified by the Traffic Police Department to the address of the vehicle owner according to vehicle registration. After receiving the notification, the violator must pay the fine according to regulations.

Currently, the surveillance camera system on National Highway 1A through Lam Dong includes 43 cameras, installed at 37 locations. The equipment has the ability to measure multi-lane speed, detect running red lights, encroaching on lanes, pressing lines... day and night.
Data is transmitted directly to the monitoring center and continuously updated to the system, serving violation handling.
