According to research, this is one of the few Honda Civic Type Rs brought to Vietnam. This model is said to have a limited distribution volume, with about 25 units belonging to the 2023 production batch.
The car has an exterior color Rallye Red - a characteristic color associated with Honda's high-performance car lines. In addition to the red color, the Civic Type R is also distributed with four other paint color options including Championship White, Racing Blue Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Sonic Grey Pearl.
In the new generation, the Honda Civic Type R continues to develop according to the philosophy of high-performance cars but still meets daily usage needs. The exterior design is aerodynamically optimized with large rear spoilers, extended front air intakes, air vents on the body and large alloy wheels to improve stability when operating at high speeds.
The cockpit has a driver-centered style with sporty seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, digital instrument panel and many driving modes, allowing changes in engine characteristics, steering system and shock absorbers according to each operating condition.
The biggest highlight of the Civic Type R lies in the powertrain. The car uses a 2.0L 4-cylinder K20C1 turbocharged gasoline engine, producing a maximum power of 315 horsepower and a maximum torque of 420 Nm. Power is transmitted to the front wing through a 6-speed manual transmission combined with a limited slip differential (LSD).
Maintaining a manual transmission on a high-performance model is the difference of the Civic Type R in the context that many competitors have switched to automatic transmissions. Along with a custom-tuned suspension and front-wheel drive configuration, this model continues to be rated as one of the high-performance hatchbacks that bring a conductive feeling rich in connectivity, while maintaining a special position in the community of sports car lovers.
