Honda Civic Type R attracts customers thanks to limited quantity in Vietnam

Thanh Vũ |

A Honda Civic Type R manufactured in 2023 with a travel distance of about 500 km has quickly found a new owner.

Honda's high-performance hatchback model is currently officially distributed in small quantities. Most cars in Vietnam are manufactured in 2023, while 2024 and 2025 models appear quite rarely on the market.

According to car businesses, the total number of genuine Honda Civic Type R in Vietnam is currently only a few dozen units. This helps the model regularly attract attention in the group of customers who love high-performance cars.

A Honda Civic Type R 2023 model recently appeared on the market with a white exterior and a prominent interior thanks to the Alcantara sports seats. This is a familiar design style on the new generation Type R line.

Honda Civic Type R is considered the most powerful version of the Civic line ever commercialized by Honda. The car possesses a aerodynamic design imbued with racing car style with many performance optimization details such as a large rear spoiler, front bumper air vents and large sporty rims.

Inside the cockpit, the Civic Type R aims for a sporty experience with a low seating position, leather-wrapped steering wheel, digital instrument panel and many different driving modes to serve the needs of driving on the street or race track.

In terms of operation, the new generation Honda Civic Type R uses a 2.0L 4-cylinder K20C1 turbocharged engine, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. This engine block produces a maximum power of 315 horsepower and a maximum torque of 420 Nm.

The noteworthy point of the Civic Type R lies in the front-wheel drive configuration accompanied by a limited slip differential and a custom-adjusted suspension system. This is also one of the few high-performance models that still maintains the traditional manual transmission to bring a characteristic sporty driving feeling.
