According to records, the car has a soft black folding roof that matches the overall exterior, accompanied by some carbon material trim details that increase sportiness. In Vietnam, the number of Honda S2000s is quite limited, only appearing scattered in the car enthusiast community.
Honda S2000 is a two-seater roadster model manufactured by Honda in the period 1999-2009. Before launching the commercial version, the model was introduced as the SSM concept at the 1995 Tokyo Motor Show. The official production version was launched in 1999 on the occasion of the company's 50th anniversary.
The name S2000 comes from the 2.0L engine capacity, in which the letter "S" is an abbreviation for "Sports", continuing the naming tradition of convertible models such as S500, S600 and S800 in the 1960s.
Throughout its production life, the Honda S2000 was developed through two main variants, AP1 and AP2, with some changes in the powertrain, chassis and suspension to improve operating performance. Notably, the model once stood out with a specific power of about 124 horsepower/liter - among the highest among commercial vehicles using naturally aspirated engines before 2010.
The appearance of a Honda S2000 with a rare paint color on the streets of Hanoi continues to show the appeal of this Japanese convertible sports car line in the car-loving community in Vietnam.
