Honda Civic Type R in Ho Chi Minh City upgraded by nearly 20 million VND to increase performance

    A Honda Civic Type R owner in Ho Chi Minh City has just equipped a PRL Titanium Inlet Pipe supercharger upgrade with an estimated cost of nearly 20 million VND.

    This is one of many "toys" that the owner has invested in to personalize and improve performance.

    The Honda Civic Type R is considered the most powerful and sporty version of the Civic line, attracting special attention from speed enthusiasts.

    In Vietnam, Honda only distributes a limited number of new-generation Civic Type R models, making this model scarce. A businessman in Ho Chi Minh City even had to go to the Central Highlands to order, with the desire to become one of the first people to own it.

    After a few years of use, the owner has made many upgrades, from the trunk, exhaust pipe to the interior. The installation of an PRL Titanium turbocharged air intake is the next step in the process of completing the car in a personal style.

    In terms of performance, the new generation Honda Civic Type R still uses a 2.0L I-4 turbocharged engine (code K20C1) combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. Both have been refined to optimize performance, bringing a maximum capacity of 315 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 420 Nm in the range from 2,600 to 4,000 rpm. This is the most powerful car model ever mass-produced by the Honda brand.
