According to the company, the 2025 Sonata SE model costs from 26,650 USD, 850 USD lower than the previous year's model. However, the Sonata SE still has LED lights, soundproof windbreak and smart trunk opening mode.
Lower costs mean some other equipment is only at the grassroots level. The 16-inch alloy belt set and rearview mirrors do not have heating functions, while the saddle, steering wheel and air conditioning are only made of urethane plastic. Other highlights on Sonata SE 2025 include a 6-speaker sound system, a 12.3-inch entertainment screen, a smart key, etc.
The Hyundai Sonata SE also integrates some additional driving assistance features such as smart cruise control, headlight support and collision warning in blind spots. In addition, other features such as safety evacuation warnings, rear passenger warnings, lane keeping and forward collision avoidance are all fully equipped.
The Sonata N Line version also features additional ventilation holes in the rear seats, while the SEL convenience package is separated into a separate version.
According to the company, in addition to the Sonata SE version, other versions have increased in price. The SEL version has a starting price of 27,750 USD, now increased by 250 USD, Sonata N Line increased by 300 USD and Sonata Hybrid continued to increase by 200 USD.
Most of the above models are equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with the highest capacity of up to 191 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. The N Line version alone is equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 290 horsepower and 421 Nm of torque.
In addition, the Sonata Hybrid uses a 4-cylinder, 2-liter engine, powered by an electric motor and 1.62 kWh lithium-ion battery. The car can reach 192 horsepower, fuel economy reaches 5.3 liters/100 km in the city and 4.6 liters on the highway.
