Gumball 3000 will officially take place this morning (September 14) with more than 100 supercars participating. This is also the 25th anniversary of the world's largest supercar journey.
This year's event brought together many famous people from around the world. Notable among them was streamer IShowSpeed, an avid fan of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to the announcement, IShowSpeed will participate in the journey on the Lamborghini Huracan STO supercar.
It's not hard to recognize that the Lamborghini Huracan STO supercar accompanying the famous streamer IShowSpeed on the Gumball 3000 journey will be the gray car with green stripes of team 8. The reason the team name is "Team 7 Ronaldo".
In terms of technical specifications, the Lamborghini Huracan STO supercar still uses the same 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine as the standard car. However, this engine has a higher capacity of up to 630 horsepower and a maximum torque of 565 Nm, combined with a 7-speed gearbox and rear-wheel drive. The car can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3 seconds, with a maximum speed of 310km/h.
The Gumball 3000 2024 supercar journey is the first time it is held in Southeast Asia.
The supercar convoy will depart from Vietnam from Le Loi Avenue (HCMC) to Cu Chi Tunnels for sightseeing on September 15.
The flag bearer for the Gumball 3000 in 2024 is IShowSpeed. After visiting Cu Chi, the group will head to Cambodia. From the capital Phnom Penh, the journey heads north and stops at the ancient temple area of Angkor Wat (Siem Reap).
The group then continued their journey to Bangkok and Krabi Island (Thailand) on September 18 and 19. On September 20, the convoy arrived in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Finally, the Gumball 3000 supercar fleet ended its journey in Singapore on September 21.
