Lexus has officially launched the 2025 GX model for the US market. In the new version, the company has added more standard equipment, adjusted parameters and increased the selling price of the car.
According to information from the company, the price of the 2025 GX model increased by 1,000 USD (about 25.4 million VND) to 65,300 USD (about 1 billion 661 million VND) for the standard version. Meanwhile, the highest-end version only increased by 500 USD (about 12.7 million VND) to 81,750 USD (about 2 billion 80 million VND).
Lexus has equipped the 2025 GX with a standard power steering wheel and memory for the driver's seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors - features previously only available on high-end versions such as Premium and Overtrail.
The company also added an off-road accessory package and an option to raise the suspension by 25mm for the Overtrail versions of the car. This change helps increase the ground clearance to 249mm, increasing the angle indexes to 26 - 22 - 24 degrees (approach angle - departure angle - breakover angle).
All versions of the 2025 GX use a 3.4 V6 twin-turbo engine with a capacity of 349 horsepower combined with a maximum torque of 649 Nm. The automatic transmission is up to 10 speeds, combined with a full-time 4-wheel drive system with a center differential lock. According to information from the company, the new GX model can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 6.5 seconds, before reaching a maximum speed of 175 km/h.
In addition, the 2025 GX is also equipped with heating/ventilation for the front seats. A 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 14-inch entertainment touchscreen are located behind the steering wheel.
The high-end versions are equipped with leather seats, integrated massage function; electric folding third row seats; heated leather steering wheel and Mark Levinson sound system with 21 speakers.
According to the plan, the Lexus GX 2025 model will be sold in the US market from the beginning of 2025. Previously, since the launch of the new generation GX, the company's sales in the third quarter increased by 16.5% compared to the same period in 2023. Therefore, Lexus expects GX sales to increase even more after the upgrade is launched.
