Dak Lak people rush to change their driving licenses

    Dak Lak - These days, many people are rushing to change their driving licenses, causing the Public Administration Service Center to be overloaded.

    On October 14, at the Dak Lak Provincial Public Administration Service Center (No. 09 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Thang Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City), many people showed up early to wait for the procedures to issue and renew their driver's licenses.

    In reality, there are a few cases of people exchanging expired car driving licenses. The majority of people rush to exchange paper motorcycle licenses for PET plastic card driving licenses.

    The reason for this situation is that many people heard that from October 15, 2024, administrative procedures related to the issuance, re-issuance, and renewal of driving licenses will be temporarily suspended; if they do not change their motorcycle driving licenses from paper cards to PET plastic cards, they will be fined by the authorities, so they are trying to change them before this time.

    According to data from the Dak Lak Provincial Public Administration Service Center, as of 9:30 a.m. on October 14, more than 300 people had come here to apply for driver's license renewal, 2 to 3 times higher than on normal working days.
