The reason for this situation is that many people heard that from October 15, 2024, administrative procedures related to the issuance, re-issuance, and renewal of driving licenses will be temporarily suspended; if they do not change their motorcycle driving licenses from paper cards to PET plastic cards, they will be fined by the authorities, so they are trying to change them before this time.
According to data from the Dak Lak Provincial Public Administration Service Center, as of 9:30 a.m. on October 14, more than 300 people had come here to apply for driver's license renewal, 2 to 3 times higher than on normal working days.
