Hung Yen Police also said that from November 17 to November 23, through exploiting the surveillance camera system and using professional equipment, the traffic police force recorded 10 cases of violations of running red lights as follows:
People should note that the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulating administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points take effect from January 1, 2025.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level was 4-6 million VND). Motorbikes running red lights will be fined from 4 to 6 million VND.
