Since the beginning of 2024, a total of 25 new car lines from a variety of segments have been launched in the Vietnamese market. Among these, many car models receive high praise from experts and are expected to have outstanding sales growth in the second half of 2024.
Hyundai Accent 2024
Hyundai Accent has always been one of the most popular B-class sedan models in the Vietnamese market. The car was launched in May with prices from 439 to 569 million VND, depending on the version. Hyundai Accent 2024 is equipped with a Smartstream G 1.5 engine, which can produce 115 horsepower when combined with an iVT continuously variable transmission.
Besides the Accent 2024, Hyundai also launched the Grand i10 2024 product line, which is also expected to stir up the Vietnamese market.
Mitsubishi Xforce
In the B-class SUV segment, Mitsubishi Xforce was the best-selling car model in June. Mitsubishi products had 948 vehicles delivered to customers, an increase of 18.2% compared to the previous month. Cumulatively from the beginning of 2024 until now, this Japanese car model has sold 3,890 cars and holds the No. 1 position in the segment. This is a truly impressive number when Xforce has only been sold in the Vietnamese market since March 2024.
With outstanding growth since the beginning of the year, Xforce sales are predicted to continue to record impressive growth numbers in the remaining period of 2024.
Ford Everest Platinum 2024
Ford Everest belongs to the D-size SUV segment, this car line competes with rivals Toyota Fortuner, Mazda CX-8, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento... The car is equipped with a 2.0L Bi-Turbo engine. 10AT with 207 horsepower, comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission, maximum torque of 500 Nm.
