The limited edition Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design is a car line with a strong nostalgic imprint, produced globally with only 992 units, each car has its own serial number. In Vietnam, the number of cars in this version is very limited, including one that is attracting the attention of car enthusiasts.
Launched in June 2020, the 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design is the first model in Porsche's Heritage Design product line development strategy. The model is built on the 992 generation platform, combining classic design language of the 1950s-1960s with modern technology.
The exterior of the car stands out with Cherry Metallic paint combined with a yellow tone logo, reminiscent of the characteristic red tones on classic Porsche models such as 356. The overall design is sporty, with front lights and lines reminiscent of early Porsche racing cars. The Porsche Heritage badge appears behind the car, inspired by the symbol once given to Porsche drivers when reaching the milestone of 100,000 km.
Many heritage details are recreated such as the Porsche badge designed in 1963 style, appearing on the hood, steering wheel, rims and keys. Besides, there are Carrera Exclusive Design rims with 20 inches in front and 21 inches in rear, accompanied by distinctive black brake calipers.
The interior space continues to emphasize retro elements with two-tone leather material, combining Bordeaux red or black with Atacama beige OLEA leather. Seats and door panels use corduroy fabric - a detail that was popular in the 1950s. The instrument displays have green accents, while many details are handcrafted by the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur department.
In terms of operation, the car is equipped with a 6-cylinder twin-turbo boxer engine, producing a capacity of 331 kW (450 PS), accompanied by an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 3.6 seconds when Launch Control is activated and reaches a maximum speed of about 304 km/h.
The combination of heritage elements and modern technology helps the Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design become one of the highly collectible versions in the 911 line.
