Hyundai has revealed the design of the Seven concept - a model introduced at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show. The company calls this production version the Ioniq 9, replacing the Ioniq 7 - the model name Hyundai previously used.
Through a series of leaked images, the design of the Ioniq 9 has a boxy shape and retains many lines from the Seven Concept model. Notable details include a full-width LED light bar with a Parametric Pixels design; the pixel LED lights run vertically on the front, similar to the concept.
The overall appearance of the Ioniq 9 is no different from the Seven Concept with thick D-pillars and square wheel arches. The rear of the car is designed vertically like the new generation Santa Fe. According to the assessment, the interior of the Ioniq 9 will probably be 3 rows of seats with spacious space and use many environmentally friendly recycled materials.
Hyundai has not yet revealed the powertrain specifications or battery capacity of the new model. According to Carscoops, it is likely that the Ioniq 9 will transfer the configuration from the Kia EV9 with battery pack options of 76.1-99.8 kWh and electric motor capacity from 215-576 horsepower.
As planned, Hyundai Ioniq 9 will make its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2024 taking place from November 22 to December 1 in Los Angeles.
