According to the Department of Construction of Da Nang City, this is an issue that the Government, the Prime Minister and competent authorities have paid special attention to in recent years. The Prime Minister issued Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated July 12, 2025 on a number of urgent and drastic tasks to prevent and solve environmental pollution.

In the tasks assigned to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to speed up the implementation of environmental protection programs and solutions to soon achieve pollution control and remediation goals in 2025, striving to complete before 2030, there is the content of "deploying the identification of low-emission zones according to the environmental protection plan and having a specific roadmap to implement measures applied in the low-emission zone as determined (implemented in 2025, supplemented in the following years).

Da Nang City is actively researching and developing projects and plans to gradually convert vehicles to clean energy, including encouraging the use of electric motorbikes.

Solutions being considered include: Building a specific roadmap for conversion; Researching policies to support people and businesses in the conversion process; Promoting the development of public charging station infrastructure and in residential areas; Strengthening propaganda and raising public awareness of the benefits of electric vehicles.

The Department of Construction of Da Nang City will continue to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to research and propose feasible solutions, while integrating them into the city's development programs and projects in the coming time.
