Vietnam Motor Show 2024 takes place from October 23 to 27. On October 22, participating units began preparing and transporting vehicles to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City).
Among the first cars revealed on October 22, the most notable is the 2025 Toyota Camry.
This is the 9th generation of the best-selling D-class sedan in the Vietnamese market. The version on display this time is the most advanced version, with a 12.3-inch dual screen, hybrid engine and integrated advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Launched globally on November 14, 2023, the 9th generation Camry (code XV80) no longer offers pure internal combustion engine options in major markets such as North America and Europe, instead focusing on hybrid versions.
Although built on the same GA-K platform as the previous generation, the Camry XV80 has improved shock absorbers and system adjustments to enhance driver comfort.
The car's exterior design stands out with a "hammerhead" grille - a highlight being applied on new Toyota models such as the Prius, Crown Sport and C-HR, launched in 2023.
Camry XV80 is not distributed in Japan due to declining sales there, but is only exported to other markets.
In North America, the Camry XV80 is available in four trim levels: LE, SE, XLE and XSE. For the first time, all trim levels come standard with a hybrid powertrain, with all-wheel drive optional.
Notably, the V6 engine has been eliminated to focus on developing a hybrid system to meet the trend of electrification and environmental protection.
In addition, the size of the car's touchscreen has also been upgraded, with a standard 8.0-inch screen on the LE and SE versions, while the high-end XLE and XSE versions are equipped with a 12.3-inch screen.
The car is also integrated with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system, providing many advanced safety and driving assistance features.
