The article reflects that the Director of Thai Nguyen Hospital C signed a decision to handle violations against Toyota Long Bien Co., Ltd. in the process of participating in the bidding package "Procurement of cars for general work of Hospital C".
Regarding this content, sharing with reporters, Toyota Long Bien Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Toyota Long Bien) has the following feedback:
Toyota Long Bien participated in the bidding package to supply 01 Toyota Innova Cross 2.0V car to serve the general work of Thai Nguyen C Hospital in the form of a shortened online bidding on the National Bidding Network System. During the bidding process, Toyota Long Bien fully met the requirements of the bidding documents and was ranked first with a bid price of 830,000,000 VND.
However, because this is a simplified online bidding form according to the new process on the National Bidding Network System, the unit has not monitored and carried out the confirmation of contract approval on the system within 03 working days as prescribed.
On that basis, the investor has carried out handling according to current regulations of bidding law.
The sanction applied is to lock the function of participating in online bidding on the National Bidding Network System for 6 months for the simplified online bidding form.
Toyota Long Bien seriously acknowledges this as a shortcoming in the work of monitoring and implementing administrative procedures on the electronic bidding system. We respect the decision of the competent authority and have reviewed and improved internal procedures to ensure that similar cases do not arise in the future," Toyota Long Bien emphasized.
Toyota Long Bien also said that the unit did not have acts of fraud or bid collusion in bidding activities, did not provide false information and did not violate regulations on bid capacity.
Toyota Long Bien does not refuse to implement the contract because it is not capable of supplying products. In fact, the enterprise fully meets the capacity to supply Toyota Innova Cross 2.0V vehicles according to the requirements of the bidding package.
This unit said that the incident is not related to product quality, service quality, responsibility to customers or business operation capacity of Toyota Long Bien.
