Toyota Vietnam (TMV) has just announced impressive business results in the first 5 months of 2025, with the total number of vehicles delivered to customers reaching 23,061 units, an increase of 34% over the same period last year. In May 2025 alone, TMV recorded a total sales of 5,831 vehicles, including the luxury brand Lexus.
Of these, 5,665 Toyota brand cars have been sold, with 2,080 domestically assembled cars (CKD) and 3,585 imported whole cars (CBU). This reflects the clear recovery and steady growth of the Japanese brand in the Vietnamese market.
Notably, Toyota Vios returned to the top of the sales table in May with 1,147 vehicles sold. In addition, the Yaris Cross urban SUV model also achieved outstanding results with 1,073 cars, continuing to affirm its competitiveness in the small SUV segment.
Some other models also recorded good sales such as Corolla Cross (886 vehicles), Veloz Cross (615 vehicles), Innova Cross (507 vehicles) and other models reaching a total of 1,437 vehicles.
Total sales of the Toyota brand since its presence in Vietnam have reached 993,644 vehicles, approaching the 1 million threshold. This is an important milestone right on the occasion of Toyota's 30th anniversary in Vietnam.
In the luxury car segment, Lexus sold 166 units in May, bringing the total accumulated number of units to 14,293 since its launch in Vietnam. Lexus continues to maintain its position with high-end products, modern technology and reputable after-sales services.
Notably, Toyota's hybrid vehicles are also attracting growing consumer interest, with 587 hybrid vehicles sold in the month.
