Recorded at Registration Center 50-05V (HCMC), the entire equipment system at the unit has been updated with the latest software to ensure that registration work takes place smoothly, accurately and in accordance with regulations.
The leadership and staff here have been trained and guided in detail by representatives of the Vietnam Register Department on the method of measuring and testing automobile engine emissions according to new standards. Registrar officers continuously perform trial inspections on many types of vehicles to review the operating procedures before officially applying them.
Regarding professional expertise, the most notable point is that the emission test will be stricter. For gasoline cars, if previously the process only required measuring at low engine speeds, now it is necessary to add a step of measuring at high engine speeds.

Representatives of Registration Center 50-05V said: "In general, the inspection regime will be more difficult than before and the engine must be evaluated in stricter conditions". Tightening this standard will have the strongest impact on the group of old vehicles, trucks and tractor-trailers.
Assessing the significance of the change, the center representative emphasized: "Previously, the engine emission testing was quite simple, not reflecting the correct level of impact on the environment. The new method requires higher standards, thereby accurately assessing the actual emissions level, ensuring the core goal of environmental protection".
In addition to the emission factor, the leader in charge of the vehicle registration center reminded people to pay attention to the overall condition of the vehicle. Small errors such as substandard headlights, worn tires, substandard brakes or oil leaks can also cause the vehicle not to meet requirements.
Therefore, vehicle owners should carefully check their vehicles at reputable maintenance facilities before registration. Preparing all documents, complying with the appointment schedule and keeping the vehicle in a stable technical condition will help the inspection process take place more smoothly.

In particular, to serve the major change in management, on February 28, the Vietnam Register completed professional training on issuing electronic registration certificates nationwide.Electronic certificates are digital versions with full legal validity, stored synchronously on the system of the Vietnam Register.
To look up this certificate, vehicle owners only need to perform a simple operation by scanning the QR code printed on the inspection stamp pasted on the vehicle.Or people can access the website of the Vietnam Register (vr.org.vn), enter license plate information and the last 6 characters of the chassis number.
Immediately after operation, the system will return the PDF file integrating the digital signature and seal of the registration facility. People can download it to their phones, computers or print it on paper to present when requested by functional forces.
This new point not only helps to eliminate the situation of forging papers compared to traditional paper copies, but also ensures that information lookup takes place transparently and conveniently. Through this, the vehicle registration sector is gradually realizing and meeting the roadmap of the Government's National Digital Transformation Plan," the center representative added.
