Regarding the warehouse fire in the land plot in Ben Do 1C hamlet, Cu Chi commune, functional agencies have initial reports.
According to reports, the fire started at 3:45 pm on February 28th at a land area of about 800 m2, co-used by Mr. Nguyen Au, Trinh Sy Dinh and Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan.
Immediately upon receiving the news, firefighters quickly arrived at the scene. Because the warehouse contained many flammable materials such as foam and rubber waste, the fire spread over an area of about 280 m2 with iron columns, roofs and corrugated iron walls. By 7:44 pm on the same day, the fire was basically extinguished.

However, at 5:20 am on March 1st, the fire suddenly reappeared. Functional forces promptly arrived to handle and completely extinguish the fire at 6:10 am, thoroughly eliminating the risk of fire returning.
According to the inspection on the map without photos and the presentation of the land user, at the location of this land plot before 2011, there was a brick wall house, tiled roof with an area of about 50 m2 used by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ben, then transferred to Mr. Nguyen Au, Mr. Trinh Sy Dinh, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan (co-users). After receiving the transfer, Mr. Trinh Sy Dinh used it to gather used sponge and rubber scrap, operating without a business license.
The process of use in the period from 2022 to 2024 has led to an increase in the construction area as it is now.

The fire did not cause any casualties. The property burned down was mainly foam materials, iron frames and corrugated iron roofs. To stabilize people's lives, the Cu Chi commune government and the hamlet People's Committee promptly supported 1 household with houses adjacent to the burned construction site to stabilize their accommodation and living.
Currently, local authorities have requested the project user to be responsible for collecting all burned materials and at the same time forcing the restoration of the state of agricultural land in accordance with legal regulations. The cause of the fire and the specific value of property damage are being clarified by the investigating agency.
