Thai Binh Police said that from April 9, 2025 to April 15, 2025, the unit recorded 122 cases of vehicles violating the Road Traffic Law being fined. Of these, there was only one case of violation of running a red light. That is a vehicle with license plate 30A-448.42.

The police also noted that from January 1, 2025, the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP stipulate administrative sanctions for violations of road traffic safety and order; deduction of points, restoration of driving license points in effect.
Accordingly, some violations of road traffic safety order have increased fines compared to before, such as drivers of cars running red lights being fined 18-20 million VND (old level is 4-6 million VND), for motorbike and motorbike drivers running red lights being fined 4-6 million VND (old fine is 800,000 VND to 1 million VND).
