Suitable for short distances
Mr. Pham Nhat Cuong (An Binh ward) is currently an information technology (IT) employee for a business in Can Tho City. He shared that although the distance from his rented room to work is only about 3km, moving in the city with high traffic density makes the car consume a significant amount of gasoline.
Just counting going to work, Mr. Cuong spends about 200,000 VND on gasoline/month (after 3 months of having to change the engine oil). Not to mention that sometimes, he also visits the market or sits in coffee with colleagues and friends, occasionally running back to his hometown on weekends. Thus, the monthly gasoline cost usually reaches 500,000 VND.
Meanwhile, when researching the purchase and use of electric motorbikes, the charging cost only ranges from tens of thousands of VND/month.

If I switch to electric motorbikes, each month I can save a considerable amount from gasoline and oil change costs. Currently, I am carefully researching car lines with good battery capacity to serve specifically for going to work" - Mr. Cuong said.
Not only stopping at the personal aspect, Mr. Cuong also emphasized that using electric vehicles is a way for a young person like him to contribute to reducing emissions and protecting the living environment.

Accordingly, electric motorbikes do not have exhaust pipes, which means they do not directly emit CO2 and fine dust particles into the environment. This is especially meaningful in developing cities such as Can Tho, where the density of vehicles is increasing.
Practical experience creates trust
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu (SEO employee at a company in Can Tho City) recounted that during the Lunar New Year 2026, he returned to his hometown and borrowed an electric motorbike from a relative to travel. Just a few minutes after using it, Mr. Hieu was quite surprised by the smooth operation of current motorbike lines. Notably, with one charge, Mr. Hieu can drive for up to 5 days or even 1 week.

After trying it out, I felt very excited. Electric motorbikes are no longer as weak as before, and are very light and easy to control. I am planning to buy an electric motorbike for my mother to go to the market every day, and I myself also use it to operate in the inner city" - Mr. Hieu shared.
It is known that the trend of switching to electric motorbikes in Can Tho City is receiving great attention thanks to the development of charging station infrastructure and preferential policies from manufacturers.
With the income of many workers, saving from 500,000 to 1,000,000 VND in operating costs each month (compared to gasoline cars) is a very meaningful figure in balancing family finances.
In addition, the fact that large businesses in the area have also begun to encourage employees to use green vehicles contributes to creating a strong spillover effect.
