Xuyên Đông |

On March 1st, the Department of Registration began to implement electronic registration.

The Vietnam Register said that the official address for looking up electronic inspection certificates for motor vehicles and specialized motor vehicles of the Vietnam Register is https://gcndangkiem. vr. org. vn.

From March 1, 2026, motor vehicle registration centers (CSĐK) nationwide will issue electronic certificates of technical safety and environmental protection (GCN) for vehicles with inspection results meeting requirements to participate in road traffic.

To look up electronic certificates for motor vehicles and specialized motorbikes, people and vehicle owners need to log in to the lookup address: https://gcndangkiem. vr. org. vn.

Next, enter the exact vehicle information including: Registration license plate (e.g.: 29A01234T, license plate color (T - white; X - blue; V- yellow)); frame number (enter the last 6 digits of the frame number); vehicle type (motor vehicle/specialized motorbike). Then, press the lookup button, the system will display the search results.

Electronic GCN fully shows the inspection information of the vehicle, including the emission level achieved according to regulations (level 3, level 4...), validity period and other related information; and integrates a QR-code linked to the electronic GCN display on the web to serve the inspection (verification).

In case the vehicle owner needs to use the paper copy, the Registration Police will print the GCN directly from the management software (not using the printing slip as currently) and stamp the confirmation to issue it to the vehicle owner.

The implementation of electronic inspection certificates will bring many benefits such as: Creating convenience for people and businesses in managing and using vehicle documents; limiting the situation of certificate loss and damage; saving annual printing costs for registration facilities; effectively preventing the use of fake certificates; supporting patrol and control work of functional forces...
