Trade unions intervene promptly
Recently, Lao Dong Newspaper received feedback from workers of Vinh Han Precision Technology Co., Ltd. (Phuc Dien Industrial Park) regarding overtime hours.
According to reflections from workers (anonymous), the company is requesting and putting pressure on workers to go to work on Sundays (weekly holidays). This part-time work is not entirely based on the voluntariness of workers, causing many workers to be forced to go to work. Workers want the trade union and functional agencies to inspect the actual situation at the company to ensure the legitimate rights of workers in accordance with the law.
Immediately after receiving feedback from workers, on the afternoon of March 24, a working delegation of the City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) directly worked with Vinh Han Precision Technology Co., Ltd. to exchange and verify.
At the working session, a business representative said that due to order requirements and production progress of orders, recently, the company arranged for employees to work overtime, and at times, it was necessary to work on holidays. The arrangement of overtime is implemented according to production needs, with plans, lists of overtime registrations, shift allocation tables...
The company affirms that there is no policy of forcing employees to work overtime. The arrangement of overtime is all consulted or confirmed with the employee's consent through forms and lists of overtime registrations.
After receiving feedback, the enterprise also issued a document to rectify the organization of overtime work, requesting departments to comply with regulations, ensure publicity and transparency, and prevent coercion of workers.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang - Deputy Head of the Industrial Park Trade Union - said that the delegation directly went to the production workshop to randomly inspect many workers. All said that they agreed to work overtime, there was no coercion against regulations.
Continue to review the arrangement of overtime

Along with that, compare labor regulations, shift assignment tables, timekeeping, salary tables, overtime salary payment tables and registration forms, and collect overtime worker opinions to ensure compliance with regulations.
Businesses continue to rectify the organization of overtime for departments, ensuring on the principle of voluntariness, publicity, transparency, and timely handling if violations are detected. The company's trade union consolidates the trade union group at production groups to suit the scale to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers.
The City Labor Federation also assigned officials of the Industrial Park Trade Union Board to continue to monitor, guide, and coordinate with businesses and grassroots trade unions to implement the above content. From there, build harmonious and stable labor relations, creating conditions for businesses to develop.
