BYD shared a video of the Yangwang U7, in which the supercar demonstrates the special capabilities of the Disus-Z suspension system. On the roof of the car is a maze toy and the active chassis system connects to a smartphone application. The player moves the phone and thanks to the gyroscope and Disus-Z, the U7 automatically copies the movements to help dribble the ball through the maze in the game.
The U7 model that can dance on its own in the clip is intended for everyday use. The car has 5 seats, 4 motors for 1,282 horsepower and a 135.5 kWh battery that provides a range of 720 km.
BYD also claims that the Yangwang U7 has one of the lowest drag coefficients among mass-produced vehicles globally, at 0.195 Cd.
BYD also introduced new technology on this model, solving the problem of hidden door handles freezing in cold weather, such as -30 degrees Celsius. Users just need to knock on the door, the door handle will automatically pop out and break the ice.
BYD has also just appeared in Brand Finance's ranking of the world's 500 most valuable brands at position 167. In the automotive industry, BYD ranks 12th with a brand value of 3.1 billion USD.
