According to the latest data from the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), Ford Everest sold 1,090 units last month, up slightly compared to last month and firmly maintaining the number one position. This sales level is almost 4 times higher than the second-placed Toyota Fortuner model, with 267 units sold (including 171 assembled cars and 96 imported cars).
Isuzu mU-X continued to hold 3rd place with only 13 cars sold in the month. Most notably, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport was completely absent, as the model failed to generate sales in April. According to Lao Dong, Mitsubishi's SUV model is currently out of stock at dealers and it is unclear when the upgraded version will be launched, although it was first spotted on domestic trial in late 2024.
Accumulated in the first 4 months of 2025, Ford Everest achieved sales of 3,224 vehicles, far surpassing Toyota Fortuner with 861 vehicles, while Isuzu mU-X and Pajero Sport reached 77 and 48 vehicles, respectively.
Although the 7-seat SUV segment did not enjoy genuine incentives this May, customers can still receive separate promotions from the dealer, depending on the model and version.
