Not everyone can rive Harley
Unlike many large-displacement motorbikes that tend to be accelerated such as Kawasaki Ninja, Yamaha R1 or BMW S 1000RR, Harley- Davidson targets players who love endurance, stability and an "men's" style with strong American style. Harley's design has not changed much over the decades, still a large fuel tank, high handlebars, low sleeves - a style that makes people easily reminded of the highlanders in the far west... of modern times.
However, it is not easy to own and control a Harley. The huge weight (average from 300-400kg), characteristic monotony, along with prices ranging from a few hundred million to billions of VND make Harley not for the majority.
Harley players not only need finances, but also passion, understanding the car, and most importantly - a life skills with a clear personality.
Harley Play movement: From passion to community
In Vietnam, Harley- Davidson has been known since a very early age, but has only been truly popular for about a decade, when material life has improved and car enthusiasts have become more and more professional.
Associations such as Harley- Davidson Saigon Chapter, Harley Riders Hanoi, HOG Vietnam Chapter, Song Ma, Chan Tinh (Thanh Hoa) ... have formed and maintained their methodical activities with journeys across Vietnam, Caravan Southeast Asia, and other special parades...
For them, each car is a "brain child". Players can spend hundreds of millions of VND to re-match winter, saddle, potted soil, wheels, and even hire artisans to paint airbrushes on the body with unique motifs.
Each Harley seems to have its own identity, expressing the owner's personality: some like dusty ceilings, some play with classic style, some have modern - rebellious coordinates.
Not only the car, but the spirit of Harley- Davidson is a car that is not for those in a hurry. It is not a speed race, not a squeeze, but a choice between long routes, where the driver can immerse himself in space, smell the scent of flowers, copper, sky wind and each sound of the engine hits the chest like a vibrant drum. It is a declaration: I go not to come, but to live.
Many Harley players said that the feeling of sitting on a car, driving through Hai Van Pass or along the rocky plateau of Ha Giang is not to "check-in" but to find oneself, temporarily leaving the bustling city. That is meditation - on two wheels.

Harley car market in Vietnam: Towards professionalism
Currently, Harley- Davidson has genuine showrooms in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and some other localities, providing all kinds of vehicles such as Sportster, Softail, Touring... with a maintenance ecosystem, spare parts, toys.
Maintaining and warranty is increasingly convenient, helping this pet to no longer be a "play of the reckless rich", but gradually become a professional, safe and profound playground.
However, costs are still a big barrier. Playing Harley has never been cheap: in addition to car insurance, players also have to invest in helmets, standard protective gear, high maintenance fees and fuel costs that are not "emitable". Play Harley not for the majority. But for those who are passionate, patient, and brave enough, Harley- Davidson is not just a car, but a symbol of a free, independent, and vibrant life.
