Many models have been discounted by hundreds of millions of VND

Thanh Vũ |

Many models are being discounted quite deeply in May 2025.

Most notably is the Subaru Forester model with a discount of up to 230 million VND for the premium version 2.0 i-S EyeSight, bringing the selling price to only 799 million VND - a record low compared to the previous listed price. This is also the last batch of Forester cars assembled in Thailand, before switching to imports from Japan at expected higher prices.

In addition, the B+ size SUV, the Subaru Crosstrek, has also been reduced from 99 to 139 million VND, but the price after the incentives is still higher than many competitors in the same segment.

In the C-size SUV segment, the Haval H6 is currently down 200 million VND for the 2023 production versions, bringing the actual price to only about 786 million VND. 2024 cars are also given incentives but have lower discounts.

Not only popular cars, many BMW luxury cars such as the 3 Series, X3, 520i and X5 are also being offered with incentives from 100 to 188 million VND. Some models are also supported with 100% registration fee, equivalent to nearly 300 million VND.

The strong price adjustment is making the line between SUV segments blurred, creating fierce competition in the market and opening up more attractive options for car buyers.
