Here, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Chau and the working delegation directly inspected the facilities and procedures for organizing periodic health check-ups for the elderly in the area. In a friendly and close atmosphere, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Chau cordially inquired and encouraged the elderly to come for health check-ups; expressed joy when people actively and proactively participated in the periodic health care program.

According to reports, Gia Loc commune currently has 43,187 people, including 9,672 people aged 60 and over. In 2026, the locality is assigned the target of periodic health check-ups for 1,934 elderly people, equivalent to about 20% of the total number of elderly people in the area.
On May 19, the commune organized the first examination for 297 people. Specifically on May 23, it is expected to examine about 350 elderly people in Phuong Diem 1, Phuong Diem 2, Phuong Diem 3, Phuong Diem 4, Hoi Xuyen 1, Hoi Xuyen 2, Duc Dai 1, Duc Dai 2, Cham, Nga, Luong Nham, Tien Ly villages.

After listening to the reports of the units, Mr. Le Ngoc Chau acknowledged and highly appreciated the results Gia Loc commune has achieved in people's health care in the past time.
