On December 18, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that it had issued a decision to transfer the District, Town, and City Medical Centers under the Department of Health to the management of the District People's Committee.
Decision to transfer the status quo of 11 District, Town and City Medical Centers under the Department of Health to the District People's Committee for management, from January 1, 2025.
The local health center will be managed by that locality. 11 health centers are subject to transfer, including: Quy Nhon City Health Center; An Nhon Town Health Center; Hoai Nhon Town Health Center; Tuy Phuoc District Health Center; Phu Cat District Health Center; Phu My District Health Center; Hoai An District Health Center; Tay Son District Health Center; Vinh Thanh District Health Center; An Lao District Health Center; Van Canh District Health Center.
Binh Dinh Province assigned the Department of Health to coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and related departments and branches to organize the handover of the above-mentioned Medical Center in accordance with regulations.
Guide the Medical Centers of districts, towns and cities to prepare financial reports, settlement reports, financial and asset inventories, and debt reconciliation in 2024.
Coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the decision on regulating the functions, tasks and powers of the Department of Health (after the new Circular of the Ministry of Health is issued).
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall receive the Medical Centers in their original state, ensuring stable arrangement of civil servants, management personnel and contract workers.
Strengthening management and reception personnel, recruiting civil servants; not creating additional staff, tasks and not affecting the implementation of professional tasks of Medical Centers and Health Stations of communes, wards and towns.
