Sending a question to the Ministry of Health, reader T.H.B said: I am a Grade III engineer, on July 1, 2022, my salary was increased to level 6, coefficient 3.99. I studied at the interdisciplinary level of general medicine and had a wish to go to the Health Station to perform medical examination and treatment.
I would like to ask, if from January 1, 2025, I change to the title of Grade IV Doctor, how will my salary be arranged? ".
Regarding this issue, the Ministry of Health responded as follows:
Pursuant to the provisions of Joint Circular No. 10/2015/TTLT-BYT-BNV dated May 27, 2015 of the Minister of Health and the Minister of Home Affairs stipulating codes and standards for professional titles of doctors, preventive medicine doctors, nurses, and professional titles of Grade IV Physicians (code V. 8:03.07) is applied the salary coefficient of civil servants of type B, from salary coefficient 1.86 to salary coefficient 4.00.
The salary transfer of civil servants is implemented according to the provisions of Circular No. 02/2007/TT-BNV dated May 25, 2007 of the Minister of Home Affairs guiding salary arrangement when upgrading, transferring ranks, and changing types of civil servants and public employees.
In his case, he is receiving a type A1 civil servant, now transferred to a type B civil servant. In case he has not received a seniority allowance exceeding the old salary scale, his salary is classified at level 12, coefficient 4.06, the salary allowance period at the new salary scale is calculated from the date of signing the decision to appoint him to the new salary scale, the time for considering the next salary increase is calculated according to the provisions of Clause 1, Section II of Circular No. 02/2007/TT-BNV.
