Nghe An - a premature baby at 30 weeks, weighs 1.1kg with necrotic bowel inflammation that has been successfully treated and cared for by the hospital.

On 9.2, information from Nghe An Pediatric Hospital said that it had successfully treated a case of babies with necrotizing bowel infections.

Pregnant women V.T.B.N. (residing in Nam Dan district, Nghe An) Pregnant at 30 weeks, with a history of pre -eclampsia. After being examined and ultrasound, doctors appointed emergency cesarean section to ensure life safety for both women and fetuses.

Right after birth, premature babies were weak at the 30th week of pregnancy, weighing only 1,100 grams, immediately transferred to the First Primary Emergency Department to nurture.

Here, doctors diagnose children with respiratory failure, blood infection, fetal malnutrition, and premature birth for 30 weeks. Children are treated for mechanical ventilation, Surfactant pump, central arterial blood pressure monitoring, umbilical venous catheter, antibiotic use and maintenance of vasomotor.

After 2 days of treatment, children appear symptoms of blue gastric fluid, go outside blood, abdominal distention. Doctors diagnosed children with intestinal perforation due to necrotic bowelitis and had to perform surgery for artificial anus.

After more than 2 months of treatment, the patient's condition was stable. Children breathe, suck well, weigh 2.9 kg and be discharged home.

According to medical experts, necrotizing bowelectitis is a serious disease in newborns. The lighter the child is giving birth, the higher the risk, the higher the risk of the disease.

The disease seriously affects the absorption of nutrients necessary for the development, even life -threatening. The surgery and after surgery treatment also faces many difficulties, requiring special care to ensure the health and essential nutrition for children.
