This is a health consulting clinic licensed by the Department of Health, the investor is Whitecoat Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a certificate of business registration issued in 2022.
This company also has a branch in Hanoi, address 63 Minh Khai, Minh Khai ward, Hai Ba Trung district.
The inspection showed that the operation of this consulting clinic is actually following the health examination consulting model, with the form of a contract to provide periodic health examination coordination services.
WhiteCoat Company will sign health examination contracts with partners who are units that need periodic health check-ups for employees, health check-ups are hospitals and clinics with health examination functions.
In Ho Chi Minh City, WhiteCoat Company has signed health examination contracts with hospitals and clinics. In 2024, there will be cooperation contracts for health examination with 8 units; in 2025, there will be 3 units.
The health examination results were returned by the hospital and clinic to WhiteCoat Company. This place was returned to the contract signer.
Explaining to the inspection team, a representative of WhiteCoat Company said that they have signed a contract to distribute testing analysis services with a company operating in the field of genetic testing in Ho Chi Minh City ( hermetic testing company).
The Genetic Testing Company said that it had previously signed a contract with WhiteCoat Company, but only one test sample was performed by the company under the contract. In addition to this test sample, the company did not perform any other testing samples sent by WhiteCoat Company, confirming that the test results as reported were fake.
At the same time, the Genetic Testing Company also said that immediately after discovering the act of forging test results, the unit sent an open letter and a notice to WhiteCoat Company, requesting an immediate termination of all acts of forging test results and terminating the entire validity of the contract signed with WhiteCoat Company.
Working with WhiteCoat Company, Ms. N.P.H - Director of the company said that this regret did not come from the direction of the Board of Directors of WhiteCoat Company but was carried out by the staff in charge of the bidding package of the Hanoi branch. WhiteCoat Company is organizing an internal review, investigation and providing appropriate handling to ensure the rights of partners.
Recognizing the case showing signs of violating the law, the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City sent a letter to the Ho Chi Minh City Police to request the investigation to clarify the provision of fake genetic test results to customers health examination. At the same time, the Department of Health sent a dispatch to the Ministry of Health.
