On the afternoon of February 17, the authorities of Da Lat city (Lam Dong) said that the unit had salvaged and brought the body of the man floating on Xuan Huong lake to shore. The body was taken to the Provincial General Hospital for examination and investigation.
Initial information, at more than 1:00 p.m. the same day, many people walking around Xuan Huong Lake (Tran Quoc Toan Street) were shocked to discover a body floating on the lake. The location of the body was discovered from Thuy Ta restaurant towards the Ong Dao bridge roundabout.
After recovering the body, the authorities identified the body as a male. The authorities also found a citizen identification card named H.Q.H. (38 years old), residing in Da Lat city. This ID card is said to be of a unfortunate person.
Many curious people stood on both sides of the road, in the park and parked their cars on the road to watch.
This situation caused traffic congestion. At nearly 2:00 p.m., the body was removed from the scene, and traffic was smooth again.
