On November 16, Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the suspects including Nguyen Van Gai (37 years old), Huynh Van Loc (37 years old), Dau Hoang Huy (20 years old) and Nguyen Truc Phuong Nhan (26 years old) were detained to serve the investigation.
According to initial information, late on November 6, Mr. Bui Viet Phuong (43 years old, living wandering) with many injuries on his body went to Binh Loi Trung Ward Police to report being beaten and robbed by a group of people in the area under Binh Loi Bridge. The stolen property included a motorbike and a wallet containing 1 million VND.
Upon receiving the report, Binh Loi Trung Ward Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department (PC02) - Ho Chi Minh City Police to conduct an investigation.
At noon on November 8, the working group identified and arrested Gai, Loc, Huy and Nhan at a location in Cho Lon ward.
At the police station, the group of suspects confessed to all their actions. The authorities seized the evidence motorbike and a plastic bag containing crystals, identified as Methamphetamine.
Ho Chi Minh City Police are continuing to consolidate the case file and expand the investigation of the case.
