On October 23, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province Police prosecuted, temporarily detained and searched the workplace of Vo Thanh Phuc (31 years old, residing in Binh Sa commune, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam) for the crime of "Embezzlement of property".
Through investigation, Phuc, using his position as manager of The Blues clothing store (Hoi An City), reported sales revenue lower than the actual number of clothes sold by 2,468 clothing products, with an estimated value of 790 million VND, for more than 6.5 years, since January 2018.
Phuc appropriated the above amount and used it for personal purposes.
The case is being investigated and handled by the Provincial Police Investigation Agency in accordance with the law.
